Now a few weeks ago...i heard some non-bikers talk about insurance for a bike,they were talking like it wasnt mandtory for motorcyclist to have insurance and :blah

The points they were making sounded like they knew some inside secerts....but i thought it couldve been just been :bs
so i didnt pay no more attention!

So whats the truths behind this??

Galvatron is right. The minimum liability requirements are the same for cars as for motorcycles.

To obtain registration for any vehicle that will be driven on public roads you have to have insurance.

Perhaps they were confused about the not needing an M1 to get a motorcycle, but I doubt that. They were just retards.

Some states do not require motos to have insurance. Montana for one.

Yeah, there are a couple states like that, but they are definately the minority, and I honestly dont see how they could do that. It would suck for all parties involved in an accident if one of the vehicles didnt have insurance whether required or not. I think thats just dumb, but at least thats not how it is here in Cali.
