you know, another girl and i were planning a ride from oakland or berkeley around the castro valley hills and back. I tried to delete this post when i realized curve unit is having a ride on the same day though - we're not trying to compete or anything. It just happens to be the day we both have off (we both frequently work weekends)

She's a new rider and interested in riding with other women. We'd come out to the CU thing except she is not freeway ready yet...

so yeah. so much for my successful deletion.

Not every female is part of the CU Btw... So I don't think it would be a compitition at all. Also if they get upset because you posted up a newbie friendly ride to help out a friend then that is poor conduct really as BARF is not CU. Though I don't think they would get upset at all.

Well, I've been convinced. There's a few other girls out there who wanna Join us, so there's a newer post with the details.

I was more just thinking that the girl rides are usually small, and I didn't want to split it up. I love riding with other girls...

I realized though that CU starts early, so anyone who wants to ride all day can make both!

Hi.. It's all good.. I'm with CU and we dont have any competions with any other riders... We all have the passion for riding. For this month, we dont have a ride planned yet, due to weather....
Feel free to post any rides you have in mind.

I'm always up for rides and look forward to meeting other riders, male or female.... I usually ride at a moderate pace.

All the rides I've been on have been girl friendly or rather most of the time there are girls there.

Have you been on rides that aren't girl friendly on BARF?

I'm just curious.

For the record I'm just asking out of curiousity I'm not trying to be a jerk or anything :teeth.

Usually the rides are predominantly guys. A girl might somehow meet another girl, but we really WANT to meet more girl riders...
