Meet at CapBux at 10, ride leaves at 10:30.
Capitol & Tully - San Jose
2990 East Capitol Expressway
San Jose CA, 95148
It is 35 miles to the Junction from the gas station.
So, 70 miles total.:)
We will grab gas on the way, go up Quimby, up Mt Ham, take a break at the observatoy and continue down to the junction for lunch.
This is a 'tard ride and sportbikes are welcome too.:)
This is not newb friendly, these roads are very tight twisty and unforgiving.
We will have groups depending how many show, but the groups will get spread out throughout the ride. We will have a sweep for each.
Hope a bunch of tards can make it, I can't wait to try my DRZ up there.:teeth

I'm on the Liver'mo side of things but maybe I can meet up with you at the junction and just do part of the ride. How far is it to Patterson for you? That would be the move right there- hook up @ the Junction and then rip over to Patterson for gas, then back and we split off again @ the Junction w/ you guys going South and me North. Just a thought anyway. Wait- I wonder if I could even do that one. :confused
Tough with a 4 mo old but I'm gunna see if I can't get out there.

It's 70 miles for us to Patterson, I'm sure tards can make it but that makes the ride twice as long. Some may continue over there, I'm gonna stick with the plan.
And we'll have several groups, I'm sure this will get big since it's on SBR too.

The route I am doing is to the junction, then turn around and come back same way, it does not include Del Puerto.
but, for those that want to continue on, you can do Del Puerto to Patterson or take Mines to Livermore.
Just throw'n out suggestions.........

I forgot to turn the sprinklers off last night and the ice stayed on the sidewalk most of the day. Tomorrow will not be the day to be getting too excited out there, me thinks.

What happened to all you guys? Eric and I waited at the Junction until 1:00, then rode Del Puerto and went home. It was a nice ride, but really freakin' cold.

Yeah, where was everyone? At least OFG & I had a great ride, you guys totally missed it.
The only downside is that it's going to take my nutz two days to defrost. :p

Everyone is fine, sorry we didn't make it out to the Junction.
After our break at the observatory, the folks in front decided to make a left and head back to San Jose instead of the Patterson direction. Small mistake, so we all headed down to SJ. I left them at Quimby, the rest went over to Metcalf and a few played in the dirt.
Hope everyone had a great day. Sorry we flaked on the Junction.:(

Your punishment, however, is to watch this. 8 min in is where it really gets, um, good. (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4915875929930836239)

I think we saw you OFG, we were heading to the junction, and saw two tards going the other way. We were 4 sprotbiles with a S-10 in tow, he was sweeping the dirt out of the corners for us, seriously, with a broom.

Anyone out riding that day for fun has to have a little something wrong with them, guess that's why we were there. :laughing
Oh, and we continued to the observatory, brrrr. And to the guy on the v-strom, that wasn't ice you hit buddy, it was the end of your skillset. Don't try to keep up with faster riders, ride your own ride. ;)
