Kato - I'd like to drag James out on this one!
I may be a little tired from the night before (having my ride along with the PD), so a slower pace will be good ;)
I will start twisting his arm and bring him down.

Tempted, but that puts us back in Cordelia at or after sundown on a cold day.. I might just hang out till middletown and turn back..
SF is 39 +/- miles from Cordelia/Fairfield & ride time will depend on rider.
I plan on the group completing this ride by 3:45 pm or before.

Kato, is there a guesstimated mileage for this route?
About 220 or less round trip.

There is a change I could make this ride today for my first group ride.

Might see you there. Like to attempt a complete Kato ride.
I'll know for sure if other plans aren't made around 9 am. Heh good chance it's too cold for those other plans. Sure could use a ride to shake off this cabin fever.
I will be 10-15 min late.
Sorry all.

Thanks, Jason! It was a nice ride up to Lakeport and back. Returned to Cordelia before 3:40. Roads were mostly in good shape, with a bit of sand and cinders in spots. No big deal. Nice lunch too. Better turnout than last week. See? It wasn't too cold! .

Dude - was under the impression you were going to be late :p
Oh, well, we went on our own short ride - probably a good thing we didn't make the full ride, though, cause I was out until 3am, and started crashing pretty hard around 1pm this afternoon...

You've 'outed' me now! I don't actually own an MTS, just been thinking about buying one. That's why I registered at the MTS forum. That means that what I ride now is one of the hated BMW's :teeth And since I was riding a BMW, I can assure you that the heated grips were on high and the heated vest was plugged in. So, yeah, it wasn't cold at all. :shhh
Anyway, I may pick up a 620 as a second bike. The Beemer just got a 36K service, Wilbers shocks, and fresh tires, and yesterday was its shakedown. I'm not likely to replace it real soon, but I might add to it. Got to sell a car first.
Cheers,
sally101

LOL well I am not a beemer hater, but heated vests are just cheating!
I was late & the group left at around 10:09.... Catch the next one if you guys can make it out. How did the ride along go... Did you get to chase down or arrest anyone.
