my F4i's been sitting in my garage the last 3-4 months unridden. prior to letting it rest for winter, i um....filled the tank up.

yeah, that was just about all the prep that i did for it. the battery's dead, which isn't a big concern since i have a trickle charger.

my main question is - do i need to drain the gas and put some fresh stuff in? or can i add some kind of gas stabilizer additive in? or can i just run the bike with the months old gas?

thanks!

I left my bike parked for 6 months in the middle east. I got on it the first day home and rode it away. I think I let my Buell sit nearly a year without even starting it.

Just get on and ride. 3-4 months isn't anything.

Would have to have put in the stabilizer before storing it for it to help keep the gas from breaking down and gumming up in your tank. 3 months isnt too bad tho

put a picnic basket a few feet away.
