I am thinking of painting a set of used fairings and was wondering if this combo will do a job. Also, if you have any better suggestions at this price range ($600-700 for both), please let me know.

AIR COMPRESSOR:Campbell Hausfeld VT6271 (http://www.campbellhausfeld.net/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10051&langId=-1&productId=60827)
3 Running HP, 10.2 CFMs at 90PSI, 26 Gallons, 240V

SPRAY GUN: DeVilbiss HVLP SriIW Spot Repair Gun (http://www.autorefinishdevilbiss.com/main.php?p=g&id=4)
Aircap pattern 9.5", 4-10 PSI (air cap) 4.8 CFM @ 29 PSI inlet, gravity tip 1.0 mm,8oz cup

Any advice offered would be greatly appreciated.

not sure about the spray gun, but the compressor is actually a decent unit, campbell hausfeld makes some decent units. i worked on a few in my time. do you have a 220v outlet in your garage? the tank size may be too small, 4.8 CFM from the gun can drain that tank pretty fast! if it's just for small jobs then you should be fine.

My friend is a licensed Electrician and he will setup 240V outlet in the garage.

Most of the compressors with higher CFMs are 220-240V so I pretty much do not have choice but to upgrade the power in garage.
