^- i wish i had that problem.. i am down to only 3 bikes... one is in pieces... one it is frame painting and main wiring harness inspection time.
i have been looking for one in my hood for years.. none.. now looking for industrial space..
i like where i live... but have considered getting a summer place up north that has a garage.
on a hill is sf... taking over the sidewalk.. the neighbors love me.. .. least the sidewalks are wide...

then you should look at those garages on the side street west of golden gate right off scott. alot of m/c spaces in them ( this is assuming you mean near the painted ladies)

i found 'lot' type spaces but no private or shared private garages. all the ones i have found have been spots in basement building lots that have strict policies on working on vehicles.

that sucks dude, I hated working on my bike on the street in the city.
A man is but a neutered representation of himself without a garage.

i do not have to drive often.. everything is close by... and i do have ancient basement... but yes
i feel incomplete with the garage..
i have been recently looking for large industrial spaces to share as a place to work on bikes and hang/have parties, but i have not had any bites.
i used to live in a huge live/work warehouse in the mission.. i could drive up to my room door.... ride the moto to the shower... the place was so fun... we had raves and live shows there.... about 20,000 sq feet, multi leveled.... until the city of sf decided our antics were no longer appreciated and hit us with some zoning red tape.
