Just saw this--kudos to a creative posting:
uhhh....which is now posted below. Sorry, didn't have my coffee. Somehow cutting and pasting the link came to mind, but cutting and pasting the actual posting didn't! Back to bed now...

That's right. F*ck a Honda Magna. These goddam motorcycles just think they're so much better than you or I. For example, I sometimes have a tough time getting up in the morning; takes a couple cups of coffee to get me moving. But this original VF 750? This a**hole is all like 'What up? I been waiting for you, man. Let's hit it already!' And there are other ways it acts all arrogant on me, as well. Y'know I thought I had a nice little cruiser on my hands, but no...turns out I have a freaking sportbike with a rocket engine hidden in a gentle exterior. When I get back from a lite jog I need a shower, I gotta stretch it out, maybe walk off a cramp...not a Magna. A Magna's just too good for all that. Park that thing after a 5-hour round-trip cruise to L.A. and back in to S.F. and not only has it yet to break a sweat, but it's all acting like you're p*ssy for wanting to take a rest. Like I said, A**hole. For it's 30k anniversary, I installed a new rear tire, recovered the seat with new leathers, performed a full systems flush...you know, tuned it up. And how does it repay me? Throws out 2nd gear. But that wasn't enough; it also had to add insult to injury by still running and operating as well as it ever has. In fact, it's almost as though it got a new-found sense of freedom by no longer being hampered by that totally worthless 2nd gear (it's not as though the b*tch doesn't pull off the line in 3rd anyway). Sorta like a hand with six fingers on it, the freak that is my bike apparently decided that a five-fingered hand was more effective than gimping around with that extra digit. It must be some hereditary thing though, because all these V45 Magna 750s get rid of 2nd sooner or later. Hell, there's probably other examples of it right here on CL (http://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/mcy/275934272.html).
Just like a girlfriend that you can't live with, can't live without though, I love the d*amn thing. But it's causing trouble at home; all my other MCs are getting jealous because they're just not getting the attention they need. Don't believe me? Compare for yourself below. So rather than let this bad lil' hottie ruin the rest of my relationships, I've decided that I just have to let it go. Does it sadden me? Yes. But the tears you see are tears of joy in knowing that it will be in a better place and a better home with someone who can give it the use it needs. Whether you're long-distance commuting, around town cruising or just blowing some weak-ass CBR away, this bike wants you. And I can see from here that there's a glint in your eye...know what it's telling me? It's cool, man. Been there myself and you don't need to feel any shame. This '83 Honda Magna V45 750cc...it certainly ain't a gold-digger, but there's no question that it's worth every 120,000 pennies.
