I don't threaten people with bodily harm for expressing a difference in opinion.

I don't come from a place that had one of the highest KKK member concentrations in the country.

I don't come from a place who holds onto romantic ideals of a seditious past.

I do not come from a place that practiced the 2/3rds clause or Jim Crow.

If you think the ideals that southern culture is built on are worth defending then thats your bag. Its only been 40 odd years since people were forced by the government to treat others equally in these states. 40 years isn't that much time for absolute change to have occur.

With your line of logic I guess I am a hypocritical bigot for thinking terrorists are horrible people.

30% of the US population lives in the South. That is ~90,000,000 people who are fucking disgusting in your opinion. Based on what? The southern stereo type of KKK, Jim Crow laws and a mis-conception of modern Southern Ideals? Where do you separate a stereo type from the daily reality? There is some truth to every stereo type, but that small truth does not define reality. You are trying to set up a straw man on passing comments. Other then make comments of disgust(on yet another set of video evidence of disdainful behavior) i would still interact with these people like any other human.

With the same common respect any human deserves no matter how abhorrent their behavior.

I would also like to point out the woman in the video admitted what the ideals and make up was of that town they stopped in. Its not me just viewing a behavior and labeling it the lady owned it.

I agree with your assertion that there are racists in the south. But answer this Mr. Bean do you think the outcome would be much different if you painted some slightly different slogans on the cars and drove through Compton, or South Central LA. Same car different slogans and drive through certain neighborhoods in Miami… same or similar out come no?

If you agree that the outcome would not be much different than would you profess to think that all Blacks and Cubans are “fucking disgusting” as well based on the few ignorant subject shown?
