nice bike, might be in the market for a duke if my bike sells this weekend( verbal agreement). is 20,000 alot of miles for this motor?

I wouldn't say 20k is much on this motor at all. They are pretty much indestructable. Come check the bike out if you're interested. You wont be dissapointed.

btw, I wouldn't shy away from a 20k mile lc4, especially if the bearing replacement has been done. but, they aren't all that complicated to work on.

20k miles on the engine is nothing, as long as the regular maintenance was performed.
