I saw a video once where they took a bare air bag, turned it upside down on the pavement (deploying side down) and activated it. It shot like 50 feet into the air.

yeah, a buddy of mine worked at toyota and they had an airbag cage to deploy the bags from wrecked vehicles. it was like 30-40 feet high. come on kids, everyone gather around to see the lift off. hehhe..
