wow, that's really beautiful....i would NOT walk under a tree though for fear of death, how the hell does a town function under a 6 inch layer of ice, you wouldn't be able to open your door
Lucky for the town, it looks like the ice is limited to the immediate area just after the lake. You can see the building across the street is okay. Guess the spray didn't quite make it that far, but certainly far enough to get the cars and street.

These pics are a couple of years old. My buddy from Geneva sent these to me in college about 4 or 5 years ago.
Great pics though - this is somewhere VERY close to Geneva, I can't remember exactly where though.
I think he said this was the town directly across a huge lake from Geneva??? Anyone with better geographical knowledge will know...
