C'mon...just think how hot your wife would look standing next to you on the grid at Thunderhill wearing daisy dukes and holding an umbrella. :teeth :boobies

You've got a pretty good point there. How much do umbrella girls make, anyway?

An SV with Gixxer front end and wave rotors?!? Who cares if it's not new, it's still nice!

Please PM me with how much you paid - I'm curious...

It'll be here at the end of the month. I guess I could let you pass on the straights and if I can pass you in the corners ;)

;) Indeed it does. Ian wasn't messing about when he built this bike. I can't wait to wipe all the drool off and actually ride the thing.

My girlfriend does it... they make a ridiculus amount of money for smiling and looking hot (100 per hour) and they get free stuff left and right (oil, tickets, etc..)

Nice! Here's hopinh some of that IanG riding mojo came with it too. Making me glad that I'm picking up my subframe tomorrow. My poor little SV needs some action!

I see those telltale little blue plastic snouts under the tank :)

(Me, I don't want to rebuild the motor if I crash in the dirt, and I'm not racing, so I run pod filters.)

Yup, it's got flatslides and no airbox or filters to speak of. I was thinking the same thing you were though... do you run flatslides? If so, is there an easy-fit pod filter out there?

The bike came with BMC conical pod filters on the stock carbs, so when I bought the FCR 41's I ordered adapters from Sudco that let me re-use those BMC filters. (I had a crazy idea that I might try to put the airbox and my stock exhaust [I made an extra stock can into a "slipon" that fits on my LV header]).

Greg Spears tells me that there's an easier-to-fit K&N kit. I'd look at the Sudco site.

Wow, that is a great bike, and congrats.

Usually when you crash in the dirt ( not always) the springs slam the throttle shut and the carbs don't suck gravel. Unless the bike hits on the right side and pins the throttle open. Last time I binned mine the carbs got pretty dirty buy not much came down the intake tracts.

You definitely have to pull the carbs and clean them though, mine even had crap inside on the slide rollers.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. I'll be out with Z2 on April 8, and will be at a handful of other Z2 and Keigwin's dates the rest of the year. Come over and say hello - the bike will look the same except without the numbers.
