Actually it's how to burn three hundred miles when every one else is working:laughing
OK so I got a last minute reprieve for the workweek. I found out Friday that I had Monday off. After racking my noggin to remember who it was that said He never had any one to ride with during the week, I remembered BPW made just such a statement at the P&W last Wednesday. A few PM’s back and forth and it was set. Meet up in Sausalito for a bagel and a few cups-o-joe and we’ll head up to the North Bay for a little 116-121-128-121-128-29-128-121-Pleasant Valley Rd.-I80 action ☺
we had so much fun on 121 and 128 that we backtracked a few times.
The conditions were perfect. Not too hot. The plentiful shade kept the road from getting greasy and the continual riding kept the tires warm and grippy. There was no traffic to speak of. Enforcement was light too. Not that we were pushing it or anything. We kept the pace between “leisurely cruise” and “brisk C-pace”. By the time I got home there were an additional 314 miles on the Odo. Good ride. Thanks Ben.
I kept telling myself that we would stop and take more pics, but I couldn’t bring myself to stop riding long enough to pull out the camera.
Weather permitting I might do it again Thursday 3/22. PM me if you’re interested. :thumbup
