It's got to get 7500 miles or be CA emission certified. Or be track only I suppose.

Step 1: buy odometer off of busted R6
Step 2: attach odometer to new R6
Step 3: get inspection
Step 4: put original odometer back on

*cough*

Pretty sure that most of the late model bikes are 50 state compliant.

Edit,

Sorry, I misread your post, though it was hinted to some sort of shady dealings.

My bad.

This is a 100% brand new 0 mile, never ridden 2007 R6.

VIN# available via PM, this is no scam.

I am in AK right now and bought this bike from the originall owner who lost his job days after he bought it.

I bought it without asking my wife :-( And I just bought a new KTM 690, so she said sell one.

And I have an 03 R6, so one of the R6's is getting sold.

I think you might have misread Sephy's comment... they way i read it was that he was giving advise on how to register the bike in CA just in case the one you are selling isnt CA registered.

Good luck with the sale

I own an 06 model. The special California model. AFAIK, the 49 state models lack the evap canister that's required to meet the standards. Without the canister, it doesn't have the certification sticker. Without the sticker, the CHP/DMV won't sign off on it.
