Remember before there was driving lights during the daytime hours. Before a third rear brake light above the rear seat. Before front running lights. Before Red and Yellow rear tail lights. Before front turn signals were amber color. There was white front turn signals.
Is it legal to have white bulbs in front turn signals ?

Don't have it at my fingertips, but yellow/white ok to the front (parking and turn signals), yellow and red turnsignals to the rear. Red only to the rear if they're constantly on (I believe unless the vehicle is a 1971 or older, then yellow is allowed)

That'd be nice to retain the white lights in front signals.
I keep looking for a single filament amber bulb. Found plenty of two filament amber bulbs. Found the single filament clear bulbs. Haven't found the single filament amber bulbs.

Have you googled your bulb number and "amber"?

Not sure if this helps you but I have always understood that as long as it was original eqipment it is legal.

They are out there, just a bit tougher to find.
