Okay, I get PM's all the time.. quite flattering really. I tried this before and met a few people, but I'm not exactly going to walk around with a big "I'm MM4L" sandwich board on, so it may be hit and miss.

I wanted to show my support for a couple of very cool events slated for this Sunday and I figured it'd be a great way to get out the word and hopefully garner a bit more support in the process.

So, both of these events are this Sunday, 3/25.

The first is a "free first-aid kit giveaway" that "OverTheTop" is personally sponsoring for BARF riders that meet up with him at Alice's Restaurant at Noon on Sunday. I think this is a great idea, so please consider coming out and enjoying the beautiful ride, the nice spring weather and the camraderie that only world-famous ~Alice's Restaurant~ can infuse into a fair-weather ride... and if you are one of the first 50 riders to walk up and give Mr. OTT the two-handed BARF salute :twofinger ..then no doubt, you will walk away with a free mini-first aid kit for your troubles.

Details are posted at: http://www.bayarearidersforum.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=197145

Next, I will be riding up to Northbeach in SF to drop in on the UrbanMoto/Subculture Racing Benefit and Party at O'Reilly's Irish Pub (at 622 Green at Columbus), staring off with free beer at 4 pm. They promise LIVE MUSIC with "Sauced" and did I mention the free beer (while it lasts)?

As I understand it, this is a fundraiser for Wade Boyd's Isle of Man TT Team.

I hope to see you all there! :thumbup

That's okay, if we see someone riding a POS 20-year-old Kawasucky Ninja, we'll know it's you...

I have no bike. So I think I will bring the Gas guzzler. Is it posable to get a kit if I don't show up on a bike?

Bad Santa, is she one of those that charges an extra $5 for the "tour of the Gr33k Islands" or is that included in the base price? :confused

I think there were 5-8 first aid kits given away. Weather predictions may have scared a few off...

I showed up at 4-corners around 12:30 and was unable to locate anyone giving away first aid kits. I asked 2 of the waitresses at Alice's and they said they weren't aware of anyone giving away kits. I cruised the big lot across the street and nada. So, I took off.

I was at the O'Reily's event from 4:30 to about 8 pm.
