1991 EX500/Ninja 500 for sale. Clean Title. 3rd owner. I have the bill of sale. This is a very clean bike considering that it is 16yrs old. Mechanically it runs great, no leak, no idle issues. 12,400 miles. All stock, no mods. Registration payed until Nov 2007.

The good:

Changed plugs
Uni Air Filter
Cleaned carbs and tank
Changed oil
New tires (less then 100miles)
New seat

The bad:

Chain and sprocket should be changed soon, but isn't necessarily right now. I cleaned and tightened the chain yesterday. Front brake caliper is slightly sticking. You may want to change the front fork oil too, since I haven't gotten around to doing this. There is some scuffing on the right hand side of the fairing and a gash on the left side, which the previous owner has patched. up. The previous owner dropped the bike. Also, the right hand side brake lever tip is broken off and the rear brake lever is slightly bent.

Other then that, its a good bike, good for beginners. I am upgrading so I gotta sell. Will trade for a gs500 or sv650 plus cash. I love naked bikes!

1400 or BO. Cash only. Must have permit or M1 license with cash in hand to test ride. No exceptions.

510-282-3533, ask for Jackson or you can PM me. I will be showing the bike on WEEKENDS only!

Thanks for the suggestions.

Actually the bike is quite rideable as is, nothing needs to be done. I am extremely anal (no jokes now) so I wanted to make sure that all the necessary work is listed. This would make a great beginner bike. The sprocket and chain is fine, however I would change it if anyone wanted to keep it for longer then a riding season.

I am not going to paint the bike, the bike is stock and I prefer to keep it that way, rather then do a rattle can job.

Thanks!
