Rider Dead, Wb 238 & 580

This morning around 7:30 or so, I saw on the news that a rider had been killed on WB 238 in Castro Valley. From the news coverage I realized exactly where it happened. Just past the split. I took a look at the CHP Dispatcher website to see exactly what had happened. It said a semi carrying dirt had ran the rider over and that they called the coroner to come out. Personally, I think that something should be done to make that fucking freeway more than 2 lanes. An off duty motorcycle cop was killed in the exact same way on the other end of 238 where it splits from SB 880. Any and all comments on the matter are welcome.

The rider was riding slow lane sharing and had just passed me while I was caging through Livermore 30 min ago. I don't know him but it had definitely sadden my day.

the rider was splitting lanes ..when he hit the semi ... causing him to loose control.... and falling ... unfortunatly he fell under the tires of the semi ... it was everywhere on the news ..with pics too ... sad morning
