Considering selling or possibly trading my near mint 1987 GSXR750. My bike is about 99% stock and has 4404 miles on it. Never been down, raced, abused, etc. Only damage is a cracked and glued "v" cowling which connects the 2 lower cowling panels

If you don't like the price, go buy a beater off ebay, not this collectible.

Possible trade interests include 99 or newer Miata's, 67 or older VW bug convertibles, other convertibles, or I'm open to other offers.

Bike is in San Jose... I will not ship it. PM me with any questions.

Just bumping this again, it's been a while. I got a few weird trade offers off CL, but nothing worthy. I'm up for reasonable offers, I'd like to get this out of the garage for someone else to enjoy.

In the past month there was a tragic IKEA furniture moving accident in our garage and the tank now has 2 small dings in it. One of the mid panels also got a scratch on the sticker. It's not severe at all, but a bit depressing to me.

That is a Nice GSXR! Don't sell it! Keep it for 20 more years...

I wanted to keep it forever, it just seems cruel to make it live out it's life as a garage decoration.

There's someone coming by to take pictures for his buddy in LA tomorrow. Hopefully someone else will take care of her for the next 20.

Someone should get a beating. To keep it so clean for twenty years, and then have some careless SOB damage it.... that's just criminal. Now you gotta race it in vintage.

I've been told that beating myself isn't appropriate.

The SOB would be me, and I attribute it more to the near vertical position of the GSXR when on the sidestand vs. carelessness.

That being said... the dents are not very bad at all. If I keep it I'll get them removed, but still... :cry

That thing is gorgeous. I'd love to have it if I didn't already have three bikes.

Oh, and :bday

No love for an old school Gixxer?

How about with a price drop? Shoot me an offer.

I love it, but already have mine :teeth

I'd say KEEP IT! But good luck with the sale. If you want, I can post a link to this over at gixxer.com...

That'd be cool, thanks!

I really can't justify keeping it. I can't ride it to work because I have 2 kids to drop off. Weekends have become fodder for Gymboree and the family... if I am truely lucky I'd be able to get out a few hours a month at best.

I've put about 800 miles on it in the past 3 years.
