I'm on my bike on my way to work this morning and I turn on Foothill expressway in Palo Alto when I notice in my mirror an Audi behind me weaving in and out of lanes.
I change into the right hand lane (as I'm eventually going to take the next right) and this jerk is tailgating me so close, I only see his windshield. There's a car in front and next to me so I'm pretty much sandwiched in.
I slow down and give this jerk a couple taps on my brakes.
He's still on my ass and I need to turn right so I signal. I'm thinking he's still close behind me when as I'm turning right, he's driving in the right hand shoulder trying to go around me in the shoulder almost hitting me while I'm making a proper right hand turn.
He then tailgates me still (I slow the fuck down, start flipping him off, and telling him not to tailgate me) then he finally takes the next right in some business.
What do I do if I'm stuck with a tailgater behind me if I can't go anywhere?

:mad :mad

Pull over/off and stop?
Pull into another line of traffic, using them as a "shield"?

Step 1. reach into your pocket and grab a handful of pennies.

Step 2. Use your imagination.

I couldn't pull over. There was no room on either side of me.
Plus this ass was already driving in the shoulder.

Although you said that there was no way to pull over, anything where you can get away from them (not speeding away) and out of harms way is the best option. I had a minivan guy in Sacramento try and run me off the road on 80E. He swerved, tailed me at less than 1 foot away and I wanted to get out of his way, I even went to the slowest right most lane and he still tailed me. I eventually got off the road onto the emergency lane off of 80E when it was safe.

I'd just split the cars in front of me and move up. That would give you a barrier between him and you (IE: The car you just cut off). Not to mention throwing it in his face that you're now two spots ahead of him instead of just one.

Or you could get into the other lane, slow down and let him get in front of you, and then merge behind him. That way he's in front of you and you won't worry about him rearending you.
