i am new to the forums and a fairly new rider. i have a '01 zx-7r that i bought new and have only put 630 miles on it. the rest of the time it sat in storage. i live in san jose and plan on riding a lot more once the weather warms up. i only have a permit at this time but i plan on taking the road test soon so i can finally have my license and can go along for group rides.

Most of us recommend the MSF class very highly (1-877-RIDE-411)! :thumbup

Start slowly and practice a lot in empty lots and with trusted, patient friends. Good luck and have fun! :)
