Tires??

So i was just wondering, for a novice rider on the track, how long should a set of track tires last for track days? I don't know my actual speed, i wouldn't say i'm slow because i usually get a lot of good feed back from other riders when i'm at the track.

And what tires should i buy if i wanted to get some track tires, i've ran the D209's and loved them, and right now for the street i've got the PP2ct's and i've heard that they are track worthy from a few folks.. any suggestions?

leave the 2CT's on there for now, IMO when you move up to B class its time for some DOT race tires, but still there are plenty of folks in B's that use those tires as well.
