My brother crashed my R1

Hey everyone, my brother crashed my R1 and I'm not familiar how motorcycles leak, I can do engines on cars, I 've been fixing / tuning those for years. Here is a picture of the slide.

the scuff right there lead to a minor oil leak I can only see at the bottom nut. can someone tell me what that leak might be?

Maybe from the valve cover gasket...

edit: I am pretty clueless when it comes to mechanics. I am probably way off! :x

It probably bent the flange on your alternator cover. Get a new one and gasket, available pretty reasonably from Mike Kolstad, University Motors 866-551-6478
Tell him you heard about them on the FJR forum, unless you have a better source.

Make sure the case is not cracked by that lower bolt, the energy could cause a hairline fracture of the alloy

left side case = stator cover.
