Hi all,

I'm from a little outside of the Bay Area: about 6500 miles southwest in Auckland, New Zealand. I might not be able to come on many weekend rides (the pacific ocean might prove a bit of an obstacle), however, I'm keen to chat with fellow bikers from round the world.

Keep it shiny side up.

Dan, aka Sanx.

We are always glad to have a new member, as long as you're not from San Jose :twofinger

Your job, as a english speaking foreigner, is to keep us well stocked with crazy alternative slang. I think New Zealand (and Australian) english speakers have some of the best slang on the planet. A good example is; 'threw a wobbly'. Since that happens about once per thread here, it's a good bit of slang to know.

Welcome and happy :barfing!!!

Well, to further confuse (and extend) your slang vocabulary, I'm actually English but have lived in New Zealand long enough to pick up some of the more esoteric terms. Half of it confused the hell outta me, but after a few months it was 'sweet as' (term number one).
