This is a CA street-titled GSXR400 SPII. The GSXR400 was never officially imported into the US. These are exceptionally rare motorcycles and retain their value very well. There are only 6,646 Kilometers on the odometer!
The differences between the SP's and the "standard" GSXR400 are as follows
1) The SP's have fully adjustable forks; the standards only have pre-load adjustment;
2) A Throttle Position Sensor is mounted on the carburators of the SP; there is no sensor on the standard;
3)A different CDI to accommidate the TPS (See #2);
4) Close-ratio transmission on the SP2;
5) The SP has a shorter wheelbase;
6) The SP's carbs are a 35mm; the standard GSXR 400 carbs are 33mm.
This bike also comes with a Yoshimura Slip-on, AFAM rear sprocket and DID gold chain.
I will not accept trades, unless you have a nice a ZXR400, VFR400, RVF400, or CBR400. I am not really intersted in the two-stroke imports like TZR250, RS250, or the RGV250.
Please note that since I took the pics, I found the OEM mirrors and they have been mounted back on the bike. They are a bit smaller than the ones pictured. The "white" specs on the pics are reflections from the flash.
