Story goes that the engineer in charge of overseeing construction of this highway project was having some personality conflicts with the designer. The designer sends out a revised striping plan to the engineer and there's some questions that arose about it. Designer was sick of it and told the guy to build it like it showed on the plans and stop bothering him!
