I don't play guitar, but that was pretty cool. Especially when you watch the other people on youtube playing it on a single guitar.

"guitar tapping" is a mixture of hammer ons and pull offs. a hammer on is when your at a lower note and you "hammer" your finger to a higher note. a pull off is when you're on a higher note and you pull off your finger to ring out a lower note. so tapping is just using both hands to combine hammer ons and pull offs in a range that you cant typically do with one hand. the guitar was very cool but i'd like to see him do something a little more complicated, that song was made for one guitar, and it's very possible to do it on one guitar. if he's got the coordination to pull that on two, he can probably whip out some seriously awesome stuff.
