April 12, 2000 was the last time we had a full day in California with no fatal traffic collisions.

Pretty sad when you think about it.

And people wonder why we take traffic enforcement so seriously.

Honestly, I'm surprised that there's an actual date where we know there were none.

I would've guessed it would go back to the 60's or something crazy.

I can certainly try. Who knows, it might just become habit to ride a little slower on the street and just fork over the $$$ for trackdays to ride fast. Kinda sobering to realize it has been so long since California had a fatality-free day.
