Has this been been successfully converted? What is needed to finish this? Any welding new brackets, etc? Oh, I forgot about the seat, is that similar in that year, or just the older F3?

If all else fails, bodywork + more fiberglassing the F3 taillight to my F2 rear tail may be an option. :(
I just like the F3 taillight much more than the ugly rectangle on the F2.

Thanks!

it does fit, you'll need the seat, plastic, tail lights and a couple brackets by the tail light.

What's the story with the imperial logo behind your bike?

No story, I'm just a big Star Wars nut, like many people. If I could weld I'd make a speederbike and get some scout trooper armor... Well maybe not the last part.

Have you noticed my username? :teeth

the F3 tail section should fit fine on the bike.

i run myself a f3 tail-end on my 92 F2.

the 95 & 96 f3 tail will fit up with no mods, because they're exactly the same, besides color. the 97 & 98 will take a lil' more work, but it fits. however i'm still wondering why you'd want to? there aren't any real gains........

True. I suppose there's no REAL reason to do it. But, I just like the tail a lot more than the stock rectangle tail light.

Ha, if I wanted the blingage I'd slap a RR, busa, or the like, body on my F2! Nah, subtle is ok.

I always liked the tail section on the '91-'96 better than the '97-'98. The '97-'98 sticks out too far backwards imho, looks strange.
