Alright, I'm getting really f'ing close here... just need one last piece of data before its complete.
I'm doing a front end swap on my K5 SV1000S, and need to know if a K4 GSXR1000 fork tube at the lower triple clamp measures out to 54mm.
Obviously, the top tube at the clipons is 50mm, but the K6 tubes taper out to 54mm. And I'm seriously considering using a K4 triple tree, and just need to know if the K6 fork will fit.
So if anyone has any calipers they can use, I just need a measurement off a K4 Gix1K fork tube @ the lower triple clamp.
