I am pulling an aluminum round micron slip-on from my 1996 zx6r. Last year, I took it to a local speed shop and they shortened it by about 7 inches and re welded the interior. I had the exterior part of the can cut at another machine shop. This sucker is loud. The thing I like about the micron is that you can remove the end cap and take out and replace the packing with ease. I took out the fiberglass packing and replaced it with steel wool to give it a little more rasp. People have commented that it sounds like a v-twin at idle and has a very smooth wail at high rpms. I pretty much modified it for my trackdays to make it a little different. It will come with all mounting hardware. New this thing costs $330, I've used it for about 3 years minimally and just for the track; there are visible wear and tear scratches, but no gouges or deep cuts. I would like to see $150 for it, but I am open to offers. I'm located in San Jose, CA and will ship out if the buyer pays for shipping and handling. email me at: gsmann@gmail.com for information. Thanks.
