I would definitely recommend ZZ's NRS. They are very thorough in the on and off track coverage. Furthermore, they take a personal interest in all their new racers and help to see them through their first race.

As do we Keigwins (http://www.keigwin.com)

I took mine through PTT and had a good experience with them. Bud Anderson actually taught our class and did a fine job if I might add.

You know...
Keigwins is having a NRS on the 7th, and I'm going to be there doing that trackday.

frankly i don't think you can go wrong w/ any of the AFM NRS courses. they may have different curriculum but in the end, the goal is the same.

I really enjoyed ZZ's school, they make you work really hard for it and make sure you know what you are doing. Im verrry thankful for that. Nothing worst than a race that cant hold his line!

+1 on what MackeyStingray said.

I did mine with Keigwins and just like all their trackdays/schools, it was very well organized, informative and thorough.

None of them will teach you how to go fast, you pick that up on the track. They all teach you the IMPORTANT things, like what to do when a waving yellow comes up, what a red flag means, why you can not ride naked in the pits, and so on. The point of NRS is not to teach you to be a racer, nor should it be. It is to teach you what you need to konw to race in the AFM and to survey your skills and see if they adequate to let you into the AFM.

The all will cover various aspects of racing, but for the most part, they are to teach you the rules and examine your ability.
