Hi Dan. Yes, you, the very fast guy on the TZ 250 who took second in his race at Infineon last weekend. Not sure if you are on barf - maybe someone who does know Dan and/or Mary can forward this messsage?

Just wanted to thank you and Mary once again for helping me out when my cheapass made-in-China stand-up pit scooter took a crap and died in your vicinity, out in the middle of no-man's land.

Considering I was a complete stranger, it was especially nice of you to give me a fill-up of your 2-stroke brew, then even fix the spurting leak in the fuel line that promptly developed 2 seconds later.

Thanks again to you both your help. I am very grateful that everything went wrong with that pile of crap when it did.

I met Dan and Mary for the first time this weekend as well (pitted almost next to them and I recall seeing some of your work going on), they are two really nice people. :thumbup

Dan's a good guy. I've been racing against him for a year now, and although he might not know my name, he always throws me a big smile everytime he see's me after a race.

Too fast for his age though.

BohnJerntsen: Thank you for the PM. And for the Coors inside info. I'll be calling them. And bringing Coors.

Higgy: Did we meet? Were you the one with the girl with the puppy bulldog that plopped his chubby butt on the scooter and went into a licking frenzy on my face?

Joe: Yes, he is much too fast, I say you protest him for being too talented. I saw him race, and he even let me sit on his pretty green bikie. I'm thinking of getting back into racing after a long hiatus, and thinking of that particular class, so he spent some time talking to me about it.

Jeff: You ain't too shabby yourself. ; )

No, I don't think we met but that dog was rad. :laughing I was pitted on spot away from them, with a TZ250 (the guy you're referring to had a R6 IIRC).

Agreed. In a sea of good people at the track, Dan and Mary stand out as some of the best. I miss pitting next to them near turn 1 at Sears and B/W.

They were there to help clean up my mess a couple times when I crashed out in '05 and that's how I got to know them.

A lot of respect for those two.
