Some extra chit-chat:

Due to baby duty, I have no time for weekend group rides, and can't attend many Starbucks meets to show off my beautiful CBR... so it has been sitting in the garage on battery life support while I rode to work in my commuter sofa-cycle.

I have decided to sell both bikes and replace them with 1 do it all kind of a bike like BMW or FZ1 or such (and save on garage space that is being used up by baby stuff now.)

The Yamaha sofa-cycle sold yesterday in like a day after posting it on craigslist.... don't know how long it will be for the CBR but frankly, if it never sells, I will remain happy and just keep it. In fact, any second I might delete this ad as I do change my mind about it every 10 minutes. :)

Here is a thread with pictures and some history:

Rob at Evolution suspension did a Computrack for me and gave me the :thumbup BEFORE I decided to buy the bike back from insurance (he actually said he would buy it back if I didn't want it, and I said screw you buddy! :laughing) Rob did a great job of fixing the stuff that needed fixing (broken clip-on, footpegs, etc. etc.) and I have been enjoying the bike ever since.

You will be practically buying an almost new bike for a lot less price. The price is firm. I GUARANTEE you that you can buy this bike, ride it for 3 months, and sell it in July for the exact same price (or more.)

I appreciate it if people could keep this ad clean and refrain from adding their opinions and 2 cents into it. Thanks.

Didn't I tell you to PM me first before selling any of your bikes?!!?:cool

Way to go to try to put off people to get them to want the bike even more. It's that obvious.

Hey Faz-zy! :) Long time no chitchat! I still have yet to see you since I moved back to the Bay! Oh NO! I can't believe you are selling your beautiful bike. How about you give it to me, and I keep it and ride it around til you are off babyduty!? :) :thumbup

Anyways, I'd love to buy it. Just can't afford it right now. But it's a great deal! Good luck selling. If not,....offer is still on the table for me to "babysit" your bike. :teeth

Umm, I think he just wants a no-hastle transaction. If I write "not a noobie bike" that doesnt mean I want to make the noobs flock to my bike....It means I want to sell the bike to someone with experience....

EDIT: Nice scooter :teeth

Don't do it, wish I still had mine!

Thanks for the kind words and advice, everyone.

Sidewalk, trust me, everytime I throw a leg over it (including this morning's ride to work), I ask myself "why are you doing this?"

But I think I will be better off with one 'mellower' bike. I think.

p.s. someone came to see the bike last night, and he is getting the cash together to come pick it up tonight or tomorrow. (Nothing final yet, first come first serve of course.)

edit2: I have received a deposit on the bike, so it is tentatively sold. Thanks for your interest.
