These are from last October 22, running Buttonwillow backwards. I didn't really like the flow of the track in that direction, but still, this was the first event where I started to get the hang of the GSXR1000 and actually managed to beat a few people on it.

You can see the improvement just from the first race to the next. About 2 sec per lap.

Open superbike first:

Open prod (battery ran out near the end of the race on the camera)

There's a bunch more stuff on hard drives around here from the last few years that I'll be uploading now that Google makes it so easy to share this stuff.

Don't suppose you got video during the Open Superbike race last weekend? I was gridded/racing close to you and would love to feed my narcissism. ;)

That was open GP - I was next to him for a bit in Open SBK as well.

Sorry but I didn't get any video in that race.

Long story: The regulator rectifier on my bike died during Sunday morning practice and stranded me. I didn't think I would be able to ride until after lunchtime when Skip Brown answered my plea over the PA and offered to loan me his from the bike he crashed that morning in Hvy Clubman.

Skip Brown is a good sport, let me just say that.

So anyway, I had to scramble to get the part off his bike and onto mine and finished putting the bike back together between 2nd and final call for Open SB. So I didn't have time to set up the camera.

My advice to all the Open GP/SB guys is to not get away from me so fast, so you'll be able to watch yourself on video later.
