I'm in LA for the weekend. Damn! I'm tempted to ride one of these clean gixxers home!:teeth Wish we had deals like this in the Bay Area! Some very good ASKING prices!

I'm almost certain those bikes are being sold by Wheels in Motion. A not-so reputable shop in the SF Valley.

They specialize in "repairing" junked bikes ...

Most shops will suggest/steer you away from them. I've dealt with them before and found them to be shady ... they had swapped the speedometer on a bike to make it seem like it had lower mileage than it had.


Same motto applies, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

1000's seem pretty darn fast for me. I get out of hand on my little bikes. I'd look for something more practical. I'm not much of a fan of race replica bikes on the street, unless they are comfortable for the long rides.
