I should be there. :teeth
I'm kind of up in the air about the dirt road though, just cause it will take me a little while to get up there on the VFR (damn XR is still broken :cry ).
What pace do you think you guy will be taking up that road? I'll probably end up just taking the street for the sake of time.

There will be other sportbikes doin the dirt, don't worry about keeping up. We'll collect everyone at the top as well, then go to the top of 152.
See you there.:)

The dirt road is a hard pack fire road full of "bumps" and a tiny bit of loose gravel/dirt, but not enough to worry about.

.....was just checking out a super secret road reports website for anything unusual.
Sadly, a caution was just released yesterday of an infestation of these lil guys- hope we don't come across any.:(

South Santa Clara County - Warning
Do not approach these "animals", they are extremely dangerous. If you see one please report it to animal control and stay back at least 500 yards. A marine will be called in to shoot it from said distance.
If one sneaks up on you, play dead, it'll eat til full and then leave you alone....unless it calls others over (loud squeeling sound), then get up and run.
If he calls others and they get there before you GTFO, make your peace and say goodbye, it'll be over soon.
These things aren't fast though, with a top running speed of only 60mph, most cars and some bikes can outrun them. If you're traveling in a group in the mentioned county, don't be last. If a pack of these things swarms your group, you'll want to knock down the person next to you and GTFO of there.
They are known to live in the deep forest, but with global warming and rain forest clear cutting they have migrated to populated regions all over the world.
