Thanks for posting the pix, professor. So that was the one were in at the start of the 650 Twins (first start, not the restart). As soon as I cleared the crest in T2 I saw you and your bike on the ground (the red bike) and didn't even have enough time to grab brakes. I was on the blue bike - you can see it in the picture on the grass, with the safety worker giving me a wakeup call - I was out cold.

So has 650T become the new 600SB?
I did the FIV race and it seemed like every corner had waving yellows. At leat 9 and 11.

yup that was the first start... tried to sneak under my buddy john dean on the 101 bike (the one where i'm upright) and as soon as I apexed 2, the back end just slid away and I held on for as long as I could. seems like a ways. I see my front fender way back there on track.
dont remember getting run over but I hear it was my left shoulder? that's really the best looking spot on me right now.

I was doing great until last night. I'm not too good with crutches and I slipped off my back deck and tweeked the broken leg. I'm dumb.

I don't think one bad weekend puts FIV or 650T up there with 600SB. But who knows...give it time. I blame the 400's. :p

The problem is too many new racers are listening to the old racers when they say, "Go get an SV and race it newbie." instead of just converting their street crashed 600's into race bikes and jumping in to 600SB. The word is out that the SV is a good place to start racing....so stop telling everyone!
