UBOB Destroys North Lake Tahoe for Memorial Day?

Just a feeler....UBOB ride to Lake Tahoe and relax on the beach hungover? I know somebody with a house up there......Memorial Day?

May 26th thru the 28th (Memorial Day)

depending on the size of the group, we can stay at my house, or we can just get a hotel again....Ride up Saturday morning, and just make a plan from there.

Jeez....what is it with you guys and your need to "plan things out"??

Thinking about riding up in the morning (Saturday) rather than have people riding through those passes at night. I experienced rain and snow on my last pass through Echo Summit, and I would not wish that hell on anybody!

that seems acceptable. I have to do my homework you see. Last time i left town with you hellions in search of sunshine, we hit freezing temperatures and missed the heatwave in SF. :x :cry

I need a weekend of basking in sunshine otherwise this south effrican is going to get even more pasty and depressed. Under this translucent skin is a tanned african trying to get out. :cool

leaving saturday is the right answer for me. i don't do mountain passes in the dark!

i'm in!!! still not sure if i'm coming up on saturday or sunday but i will be there. i was just up at tahoe yesterday and it was around 75 and a little breezy but it felt good to have the breeze while laying out on the beach. emma you better wear sunscreen since you will be at 8000 ft. elevation. i got fried just sitting out for two hours :wow

I think we might end up getting hotel rooms. My grandfather is going to ake his first trip up there since the aortal rupture, and my aunts, unckles and cousins will be there too. My sister is already staying in the apartment above the garage, and I don't know how many rooms will be open in the main house after the Familia arrives....

hotels are pretty easy to find, and are usually cheap....I'll check on the CalNeva again....
