An "arf n arf" (as explained to me by the very nice Welshman who used to frequent my pub) is slang for "half and half", which was a Guinness float over Harp lager (Bass being more "tan" colored, hence 'black n tan').
Next bike meet should be in 2 weeks, hope you can make it!!
