Hey I know we already have a big meeting for april already set but how about a bbq?? I don't like having my weekend nights filled, I like drinking too much. The weathers getting better we could have a big bbq in golden gate park. Nothing like seeing 80 bikes parked in a row along the park drive. :) it would be an awesome site. SBF had one last year and like 150 people showed.

oh man that would be killer, we can cook in the parking lot I bet!! The ocean beach parking lot is great for something like that. maybe our next barf meet could be a bbq? Instance what do you think?

gotta' be a park. no way SF allow cooking on beach or parking lot w/o a special permit, it would turn into homeless squatter land instantly. no "open containers" allowed neither. I don't even see those lunch trucks anymore :(

hee hee, the roach coach cafe :D

bbq sounds wikked. especially in the park. we can just reserve an area in advance and then rock out that day in the park with all the bikes lined up. lets do it for sure once we know that weather is solid for a few weeks.:bday

seabright beach in santa cruz between the boardwalk and capitola allows bonfires and it would be a cool place to have a party. it is not crowded like the other two beaches.

BBQ eh??? Already thought of that one. Already thought of the spot too.....:D Its located in Alameda, a area called Crab Cove....... picnic tables, BBQ pits, huge grassy area, and its about 100 feet from the beach. I'll video tape the area and show it at the meet on saturday.

RSrai's spot sounds good too........never had a bonfire on a beach before.

GG Park allows open containers... we play "Shlosh Ball" there all the time... which requires 2 kegs on a softball field... no permit required.

As for Alameda... Robert Crown Memorial State Beach is permit only, however, permits are free... take one week... and they have BBQ Pits and picnic tables, restrooms, trash, etc. Extremely easy setup, easy cleanup.

Just my $0.02
