Everyone meet at the Pig & Whistle this Wed night 6:30 - LATE(2AM)

FREE motorcycle parking out front and FREE cage parking up on the roof.
RIDE INFO PENDING when my pm finally gets returned :p
Come to the P & W and enjoy the beer, food, trivia & fun with fellow BARFers! Bring your own non BARFer if you like. Everyone is Welcome.

You choose what you participate in, if you don't want to ride then don't. If you don't want to play trivia then don't.

As always it's pay-when-you-order-food-Wed. The pork chops as well as the bangers & mash get two thumbs way up. And as always the veggie burger is very tasty.

PLEASE NOTE that you should not set your drink on the gear table. Do not bring your drinks outside of the bar. And of course no burnouts.

As you know, Trivia night is Wed night -1st prize is $30 Wed Barf drinking fund, 2nd prize is 2 free pitchers of beer.

Directions:
The Pig and Whistle is located next to 2807 Geary Blvd. on the South side of Geary between Wood and Cook, just west of the Masonic underpass on Geary. (Take the high road)

For those coming from the BB, take the 9th Street Civic Center exit, make a right on 9th, stay on the left side while you're crossing Market, stay in the right lane and make a right on Van Ness or Franklin. Make a left on Geary. Once you've gone under the Masonic tunnel, you will see P & W directly on your left. Turn around two blocks further up and make your way to P & W.

For those headed westbound on Geary from downtown SF, go just past the Masonic underpass and you will see P & W on the left right on the corner, next door to Family's and B of A. Go two blocks further on Geary and make a u-turn to get to P & W.

For those taking 280 North to 19th Avenue, go through GG Park, to Park Presidio (19th turns into Park Presidio on the north side of the park), and make a right on Geary, if you go through the Masonic tunnel coming from this direction, you have gone too far.

strikeouts must be a sanfrancisco thing. :x

anyway, you usually draw a strike zone on a wall and use tennis balls. one guy tries to strike out the other, you usually agree to some sort of ground rules for hits: i.e. grounders = singles, hits fence on one hop = double, on fly = triple, over fence = homerun, etc

YEP - you can't get there going east-bound on Lincoln, or from 7th Avenue. If you're in GG Park, it's behind the Academy of Sciences that they're rebuilding.

Great meet guys!!! I had a lot of fun.. Even though it was a small meet, it was cool seeing everyone. I can't believe Marco made it all the way from Elk Grove -- it's been a long time since we've had a beer or two together.

Dude, those Smores were savage. I can't believe we cooked that crap right on the street! I started to eat one, and I dripped a bunch of chocolate right on the sidewalk.

Petra, your boots are dope, I really like the fit and finish of them when looked closely, I think I may get a new pair of boots soon and those Puma's are looking good.

Anyways, it was a fun time, too late into the night for me though. My ride home I avgd about 110mph. It was a pleasure hanging out with Heidi! (nemo brinker).

It was funny as hell passing a camaro on the bridge on the way in with a license plate that said I :love HEMP and seeing the driver and thinking "whoa! That looks like Cygnus!". Then going to the meet, and seeing Cygnus!

The funny part was HOW it got into the back of a truck, especially considering we didn't have a ramp and we didn't use the curb. I think Cat thought or heavily suspected insanity run amok while enjoying her front row seat of the loading "festivities".
