I just rattle canned some bodywork using krylon fusion. I called krylon and they told me to clearcoat it with an enamel based clearcoat. I went to kragen and got some dupli-color engine enamel based clearcoat. I sprayed it on and it some sections of the clear turned foggy/hazy looking. What is going on? Should I have gotten the regular enamel clear?
I can post pictures if it helps.

Dont worry about it, just put two coats and buff it off with carnuba wax or something light coz kragen clear coats are pretty soft...

use a gloss enamel and forget the clearcloa. you can buff the gloss enamel to a shine with wet dry paper and polish compound once its FULLY CURED. takes like a week or so. that will be a lot easier to do than using clear enamel. also usedthe same brand of paint as well. dont mix brands and types of paint.
basically, start with a clean slate, sand the old stuff down and prep again.

well 2 days later the clear hazy is gone, but parts of the tail have a yellowish tint to it.

thats the duplicolor clear enamel for you, i did the same when i was painting with black and that piss tint made it look bad so i started over. forget that clear coat. its no good. enamel alone is fine.
