i went on a 30 mile ride with my friend around the streets of san jose and santa clara today, getting a feel for my bike.

as we were pulling up to his driveway, i was turning pretty slow, maybe 2-3mph and thinking i should grab the clutch because the bike was getting jumpy going that slow. when i got to the initial incline of the driveway, my line widened up and the bike jumped right into the left taillight of my friend's roommate's truck. my right fairing exploded all over the driveway and the bike tipped over left.

i was laughing before i even hit the ground because it was a stupid thing to have happen :)

then we ziptied the fairing back together and went riding again.

Sounds like it's time for you to hit the parking lots! Get some control over that clutch and don't point the bike at cars... you should be fine :laughing

yeah my first 10 miles was all parking lots and back and forth on my street.

i think maybe i was just tired too from riding that long without really being accustomed to it.

don't point the bike at cars... got it!

btw anyone have some gsxr fairings they want to donate? :cool
