always get me into TROUBLE
i just installed some new sato rearsets on my bike and i love em'. however, the directions said that i should cut off the old brake switch and splice in teh new switch to be used with the new sato rearsets.
i just cut the original brake switch off and wrapped some duct tape around the wire ends and found a nice place to ziptie the ends to near the rear brake fluid reservior... is this ok? or should i install the included switch to the rear master cylinder and somehow not "connect it"??

Get a hyradulic banjo bolt switch. You need brake lights on street bikes. Do not just tuck it away and forget about it.

good point. i guess if i ever need to disconnect the rear brake switch, all i'd have to do is pull those connectors apart. i guess, i'll hook the switch up, even though i never use that pesky rear brake...
