I'm thinking about getting rid of the jr50.

it's a 2000. 2 stroke. gutless, soft suspension. Perfect for first rides. You can even put training wheels on it!

I'm thinking about $600-650??

My 9y r old cousin (boy) is looking to get into dirt riding...Im thinking an xr80 would be better...he is on the smaller side, but this kid is fearless...

any other info about the bike?

my 6 year old got bored with this bike.

Go for the xr70 for your nephew. It's an automatic and he can get used to riding without having to worry about a clutch.
