I still need to install the handguards as well, never ride without them. I'd like to ask my boss for the day off Sat, but my work situation is pretty tense right now and I just don't want to rock the boat.
I would like to set up a Hollister ride on a coming Sunday or Monday(my days off starting next week)

Guys, I had a great time today! Thanks everybody for coming!!! The weather was just perfect and the KTM is AWESOME! I am also very excited that I rode on the motocross track for the very first time today. Finally! I did not clear the table tops but I had a blast. I can't wait to do it again!!!

Regarding the Helicopter insurance that I told you about, the company is Enloe (http://www.enloe.org/enloe/emergencyflightcare.html) and the price is $20 /year. The phone number to register is 530 332-6774. They have agreements with Mercy Air, Air Life, Life Flight, CalStar and Bannock Life Flight so the coverage is pretty darn good! $20 a year is better than a $8,000 air lift! ;)

Actually the guy hurt himself somewhere else, on a trail probably, but the TT Track is the only place where the helicopter can land. The ambulance brought the guy to the TT Track and they loaded him in the helicopter from there...

The guy got hurt on the motocross track. I had seen the ambulance out there and the Rangers had that track closed as well.

I stay away from that deathtrap thay call the motocross track. Ive put my time in on it but am done at this point. Id be the next one riding in a helicopter:laughing

Well, I went out there and had a great time. Couldn't find you guys, no BARF banner up.....

I had a great time, now I know why everyone loves riding dirt bikes so much. I did some jumping, some hill climbing and almost bit it twice when my wheel got caught in some ruts.....

All in all a great day. Sorry I missed you guys (I just don't know what anyone looks like). I guess I will have to slap a BARF sticker or two on the bike so people know I am with the group (and can avoid me, lol).

The only thing I didn't like whas when they would water a trail. Hit the trail comming from the quad track to the road and it was like riding on ice. Almost had to walk the bike down but made it without falling. Guess I will have to get some knobbies on the bike.

Well, hope to hook up with you guys next time.

Hey Shotline, sorry we missed you. I have a BARF sticker on the back window of my Tundra but it's pretty small... You're right, next time we should bring a big BARF banner ;) :laughing

I was at the TT track for the secound heli fly in. Nobody was injured they were bringing back supplies to the rangers. I was talking with one of the rangers and he said that they bring back supplies "backboards and other stuff" cause the Hospital kept the stuff. Seems like a waste of money to have a heli do it but the watered the track and it was too slippery to ride anyway. I had a good day out there today I crashed three times today. The first one was in my first corner. I went through some mud and the bike just slid out no biggy kept it running and carried on...the last crash was a doozy there I am flying over the handle bars again in another highside...got the wind knocked out of me and my hip hurts other than that I had fun! I'm really getting use to sliding threw a turn.
