Well its been a long time coming but I finally reviewed the gear that I crashed in a while back. If anyone was thinking about getting some overpants I would highly recommend first gear, they definitely saved me from some injury.

I plan on reviewing my gloves (that ripped!), jacket, and helmet too, but that won't be for a few days at least. Let me know what you guys think!

i like the site and think it has a lot of great info but you have to do something about the bot postings, it gets annoying thinking im about to read some great comments from other riders just to find pages filled with great site but please visit so and so site.
and the hawk are you sure it only puts out 8 horsepower @ 60 mph?

Jesus christ!!! I didn't know I had so many damn bot posts, this is definitely a new development :( Great catch, I'll definitely take care of that.
Also that is a misprint of that Honda Hawk horsepower, I believe I meant to put 80, but I can't find my reference so I am going to remove the HP until I find it (I need ot be accurate!)
Thanks again!

Alright, I removed all those freaking bot posts, there were like 100+ of them! Thank you again for mentioning it, I usually don't surf the site that much, I just add new content. I guess i'll have to surf it more often!!!

Thank you very much :) It's still in its early stages and is more just an outlet for myself than anything else. I'm glad that you enjoy it though, it makes me want to post even more! If you ever do make that blog send me a link :)

good to hear the pants work. I wear these during winter. I have their textile/mesh pants for may - nov.

I wear these pants all the time, over my work pants (which are normally jeans or khakis). In the winter it never gets too bad w/the liner in there, but in the summer there's a lot of air flow which is nice.
A lot of people ignore pants as a necessary item when riding, however I always ask myself if I want to risk getting my leg's torn to shreds sliding at freeway commute speeds.

I had an EX500 with a pipe and a jet kit (54 hp) that walked away from a Hawk in a top gear roll-on. 80 if it's a hot rodded race bike, perhaps. The fastest ones in the AFM had a little on my 77 hp SV.
