I've crash tested my Fieldsheer perforated leather jacket many times and all the stitching is still good. I've lowsided twice, landed on my chest twice and flipped over a car. No injuries except a bruised lung and fractured rib when I flipped over a car. I don't remember how I hit or landed because I was knocked out. I'm getting the zipper replaced so I can use it again.

I third what these guys are saying.. I've worn a perforated Field sheer since 1999 everyday; Never been washed.. (shhh)I have crashed in it many times.. I'm talking many many times... the only thing that's falling apart is the zipper pulls.. It's a great jacket, I can't find another one like it. The only jacket as nice would be a Vanson.

I wear a Belstaff oiled cotton in the winter, over the Fieldsheer. It's good for below 32 deg...
